Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alex was scheduled to be put to sleep at another rescue in Mississippi. His days were numbered and his number was about to come up. One of the volunteers at this shelter knew of our rescue and contacted us to see if we would take him to try to find him a home. They knew that we were a no kill shelter and we would work to find Alex his forever home. So Alex has come to live with us. Please help us find Alex a wonderful home so that he knows he was saved for something special.
Alex is a male, Beagle mix. He is approx 12 months old and is weighing 40 lbs. Alex was a surrendered dog whose owner no longer wanted him. He is current on his vaccines, has received rabies and is testing heart worm negative. We have him on all monthly preventatives. Alex is one of the sweetest guys ever. He is very dog friendly and loves all people. Nothing makes him happier than playing with his frisbee. He will entertain himself for hours with his frisbee. He is currently in foster care with the volunteer who rescued him from the high kill shelter and she would love to speak with anyone who is interested in him. Alex was given a second chance by our group. Please help us find his forever home.
