PUPPERS's Story...
This is Puppers, a young 8 month old pup that was saved from going to the pound. But he is in jeopray again because of the frigid weather and his owners taking him to a pound
Puppers is outside and we need to find him warmth and comfort inside. He loves to play with his fosters 2 year old child. He is also good with cats and LOVES to play fetch...seems to like sticks allot. Puppers weighs about 50lbs and needs an active life with lots of new adventures.
If you can help Puppers,
the snow is starting fly and he needs indoor accomadations.
UPDATE Puppers is now at the Hocking County Pound...so Please call 740-385-2319 M-F 8-4pm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPERS, a McArthur Border Collie/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Coonhound for sale in McArthur, or seeking a Border Collie/Coonhound dog from a breeder in McArthur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McArthur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McArthur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Coonhound breeders who help with Border Collie/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McArthur paves the way for another one to be saved.
