Bunnicula's Story...
Hello...my name is Bunnicula. I am from a family with children, so I am very comfortable with being held and played with. I am here at no fault of my own, my family could no longer care for me. I am a mixed breed bunny. I am half Lions Head/Grey Fox. I am just 4 years old, and house broken. I have a very soft fur, with a long mane over my face. I have dark eyes, and my fur is all black. I would love it if I could find another warm loving family to care for me. I have so much love to give. I can picture hopping in the grass, playing with little toys, and chewing on carrots!! Come see for yourself! I am a wonderful bunny!! Cage#120

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunnicula, a El Cajon Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
