Darla's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Darla's Story...
Darla is a beautiful 9 year old kitty who was abandoned at the shelter with her friend Tux. Tux has been adopted, but Darla is patiently waiting for her turn.

Darla has become such an affectionate lap cat. She loves it when you scratch above her tail and will rub her head on your hand gently asking for more. She has no problem junping in your lap and snuggling with you!And look at her face!.... She has the most gorgeous color pattern and very distinctly shaped muzzle. Love this girl and her loving nature.

Please come visit her at Our Freeport Location. 2 Rider Pl. Freeport, NY 11520 516-378-4340

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Freeport Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
