My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DDWTN is helping this owner find a new home for her great Dane. Here is what the current owner wrote as a bio. Since this would be a long distance adoption, we feel it would be best if she is placed in a home as the only dog. She weighs 100 pounds currently so we are requesting a home with older children only.

Seersha is a female 1 year and 3 month old brindle Great Dane. Her birthday was 8/14/12. She is good with people, cats, and most dogs. I haven't ever had her around kids, so I don't know how she would be with them. I have 5 other dogs, and she does great with all of them but one. Seersha is the dominate one in the pack, and she is aggressive with the most submissive member of the pack. The dog she is aggressive with is an old female, so I think that Seersha would be better in a home with younger dogs, male dogs, or no dogs. If there are dogs, they have to be tolerant of in-your-face behavior to get along with Seersha. She is not food aggressive at all. She knows sit, lie down, stay, and off (when I want her off the couch). She knows she has to sit and lie down before she gets any food or treats. Seersha loves to go running with me, and she loves to cuddle on the couch with a blanket. She doesn't like to play fetch, but she likes to steal all the toys in the house and sit on them. Seersha is spayed and is heartworm negative.

Sheersa will be transported north upon adoption via Alpha Dog Transport. They charge $125 for their services and will hand off all the dog's vet paperwork and health certificate when you claim the dog.

An adoption fee will also apply. That is paid to the rescue through our main website deaddogswalkingtn.com - through Paypal.
