Butsie (Bootsie)'s Story...
This sweet, loving lady takes the phrase "only as old as you feel" to heart! At fourteen years young, Butsie still has quite a bit of spunk, though that spunk is tempered with the good manners that can only come with maturity. While she may have a little arthritis in her rear legs, she absolutely loves to play with her toys and jog around the yard, even if her marathon days are behind her. Hanging out with her two-legged and four-legged friends is her favorite past time. She is very well behaved inside the home but crates like a champ when asked.

This beautiful lab/cattle dog mix sadly lost the only family she has ever known when her owner passed away, she was left all alone, but she has been eager to make new friends. Butsie is looking for that home that simply desires what she desires; easy going companionship and love.

Butsie is up to date on her shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at if you'd like to meet her. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butsie (Bootsie), a Cincinnati Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
