My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucas is sooooo adorable. He has shiny, shiny, shiny, medium-length hair that does NOT shed! He is absolutely gorgeous and has a personality to match. Lucas loves to explore the outdoors and stay near his humans. We think he did not live indoors much before, because he was initally shy about coming indoors and apparently did not know how to climb stairs. (He's getting over that very quickly in his foster home!)

Lucas is about 2 years old and weighs just 30 pounds--a perfect age and size for anyone or any family.

Lucas has a boo-boo on his forehead that is probably the result of being hit by a car. Luckily, that's his only injury, and his hair is growing back already. His other challenge is that his former owners were also not protecting him from heartworms, so as a result, Lucas now has that awful disease and will undergo treatment to cure him so he can live a long and happy life with his new family.

If you would like more information about Lucas, please call Judy at 770.351.7377. Lucas has been neutered, microchiipped, vaccinated and is taking medications to protect him from fleas and intestinal parasites. He will be treated for heartworms before his adoption. Lucas' adoption fee is $225.
