Sampson's Story...
Adoption Pending. SAMPSON is a handsome blue pit who is in need of a loving understanding home. Sampson is 5 years old and, through no fault of his own, he is HW positive. For the slow treatment of heartworm, he needs to be kept on monthly Advantage Multi, something every good pet owner should do for flea and and HW prevention. He has a wonderful, sweet disposition and loves to be with people. He weighs 75 pounds, has been neutered and is current on vaccinations. He has done great in his foster home and gets along well with other dogs and people. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Sampson if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help to cover the cost of the veterinary care he has received.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sampson, a Union City Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Union City, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
