Alfalfa's Story...
Are you looking for a dog who wants to snuggle with you all the time? Who's little butt almost flies off when you walk back into the room. That will love you until.... Alfalfa, named for the sprig of hair that seems to stand up all the time, is the dog for you. Oh, we know Alfalfa is a boy but this one is a girl, ok?

We just sent this sweety off to get her face and legs trimmed up. Did I tell you she is adorable. She is constantly next to me. This one would be great for a retired couple who is home a lot. She wants to be with her people.

She has been spayed, deep clean dental, Heart worm test, nail trim, rabies shot, Distemper/parvo booster, de-wormed and is microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfalfa, a MINNEAPOLIS Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in MINNEAPOLIS, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in MINNEAPOLIS.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in MINNEAPOLIS already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a MINNEAPOLIS breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in MINNEAPOLIS paves the way for another one to be saved.
