Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Patsy is a sweet 5 year old black lab mix. She is on the smaller side weighing about 45 to 50 lbs. Patsy found herself in a shelter after being surrendered by her owner with her 4 beautiful puppies. Lucky Lab Rescue pulled the little family, 4 pups and momma too. There was no way we were leaving Patsy behind. Too many little black mixes never make it out of the shelters. Patsy was heartworm positive when we got her, but she has completed treatment and is ready to find a home of her own. She has a beautiful shiny and soft solid black coat with a little graying around her muzzle. Patsy is now in a great foster home where she gets plenty of loving attention and good girl hugs. She is your typical little sweet girl. Patsy gets along great with her foster canine siblings and likes to play. She would be considered on the low-medium side for energy level. She, of course, loves treats, belly rubs, hugs and just hanging around her people. Patsy can be a little protective when someone new comes into the house and barks, but when she knows they are okay she is fine with it. She loves to cuddle and anytime of the day is ready to curl up next to her person and watch a little TV. Patsy has not been around very small children, so we recommend older children. She is okay with the kitties, but will chase if they run. She is great on a leash and loves to go for walks and has very good house manners and is house trained. Patsy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She is also on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Patsy is crate trained. If you would be interested in hearing more about Patsy and how she could be a part of your family, please indicate her in the notes section of the online application.
