My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big Red is a mixed breed of many breeds, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Labrador and Pitbull, is the best guess. She is stunning and is a success story for the Webster Animal Shelter. She was abandoned in Madison and brought to the shelter where we found out that she was very pregnant and not in good physical condition. The shelter staff doted on her. Several months ago she gave birth to 11 beautiful puppies who are now being adopted. Big Red is super sweet and very appreciative of any attention you give her. She gets along well with male dogs but doesn't like female dogs too much. Big Red has scar on her back from a burn, we don't know how it happened. She's a quiet and calm dog and would make someone a nice pet. She is heartworm positive but is being treated, by the time she gets to you she will be healthy. Red needs to be in a home with no cats and no female dogs. She loves people and needs her forever...deserves her forever.

Although she is currently in Madison, Mississippi, transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee. If you are interested in taking her into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/
