Bella's Info...

Bella's Story...
Bella is a beautiful solid black front-paw declaw with golden eyes. The pictures certainly don't do her justice. Her owners had to give her up which was especially sad for her human mom. When her foster mom drove her from her previous home to her new foster home, Bella talked the entire way. We like to think she was excited and talking about having a new adventure. But she was also scared since her previous owners had her since she was a baby. This girl is so sweet and deserves a permanent home.

If you're interested in meeting Bella please fill out our on-line application on our web site (www.FatCatRescueInc.org) and we will arrange a day/time that's convenient for you, Or if you have questions please call 847-306-3688 and one of our volunteers will return your call.

Fat Cat's adoption fees are: $125 for kittens under 6 months; kittens over 6 months and cats are $100; for cats over 7 the fee is negotiable. Second adoptions are half price. The fees include spay/neuter, rabies, distemper, medications for fleas, ear mites, and worms, testing for feline leukemia and FIV, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Grayslake Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Grayslake, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Grayslake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grayslake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grayslake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grayslake paves the way for another one to be saved.
