Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tripod went through a lot before she came to us. We guess she was about 9 months when we rescued her. She was a feral mum, had a litter of kittens (also rescued and available for adoption) that were two weeks old, when she got injured and lost most of one of her rear legs. Miraculously she survived the injury and was able to make her way to the yard she was living in and tend to her five babies. She was not able to feed them as a result of the injury, but she did tend to them as best she could, protecting them from predators. We were able to trap her and have her injuries tended to, (amputation of the remainder of the leg due to broken femur was necessary), and had her vaccinated and spayed. She responded well to the administering of vetting care, and limited handling. Tripod is a very sweet and courageous girl. She is coming around and will come to her foster mum for petting and limited snuggles. She is ready for a special and quiet foster or forever home with someone who is experienced and patient with shy cats, and will give her the time she needs to learn to fully trust humans.
