Batgirl's Story...
Batgirl # 648 is a 12-week-old female, Shepherd mix. She is a typical sweet and playful pup. We are working on leash and crate training. She arrived at the rescue with a birth defect that makes it hard for her to walk and we are trying to help her straighten her legs. She has much improved! We would like to find a home within a reasonable distance from our vet hospital so we can continue to treat this little cutie. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Batgirl, a Waldorf Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
