Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Minnie! She's a gentle 3 year old black lab/hound mix that was rescued from another facility. Minnie is a gentle girl that looks like she's had a hard life up until now. She likes attention and to go for walks. She seems fine with the other dogs at the shelter. Please give her the loving home that she longs for and deserves.
At the end of November 2013, Minnie was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Minnie is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend between 10-12 weeks at the prison and will not return to Friendship until her training is complete.
If you are interested in adopting Minnie, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.
