Murphy is an incredibly sweet, handsome, spry and snugly, 25-pound, 14-year-old, male Cairn Terrier looking for a loving guardian. Murphy was brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control to be euthanized. When volunteers at the shelter took a look at him … they said he has years left of love. He’s a tad bit arthritic and has an eye infection, but he is super spunky, happy and so very loving.

In the studio, Murphy snuggled up to me and then rolled over for belly rubs. He has personality plus and deserves to enjoy being part of a loving family for his golden years. Murphy is a great dog who appears to be housebroken, has good house manners, knows the command sit and takes treats ever so gently from your fingers. He seems fine with other dogs and loves people. Murphy is a healthy senior, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
