My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our power couple, Bunnie Raitt and Bunmont Tench III! Two bunnies named after two talented musicians, Bonnie Raitt, blues singer and slide guitar player, and Benmont Tench III, piano player and founding member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Considering that Benmont actually helped pick the name for his honorary bunny and seemed quite tickled by it, I’d venture to say he’s a fun loving and personable man as well.

Bunnie and Bunmont’s rescue story began on our very own doorstep late one night. It was there that they, along with a 3rd bunny named, Skipper, where abandoned by their owners. Thankfully, despite the late hour, the three were quickly spotted by our house manager and brought in from the outside. Bunnie and Bunmont bonded during their time of stress and have been a loving, supportive couple ever since.

These two buns are true Netherland Dwarfs, full grown, yet teeny tiny with the cutest, stubby little faces that make this breed so recognizable. Though small, these buns need room to run and bounce since their compact size gives them a lot of energy, a big personality and a whole lot of “rabbit-tude,” which in this case, we’ll call “star-power.”

Despite their rough beginnings, Bunnie and Bunmont have a lot of love to give and are eagerly waiting for someone to share it with!
