Carisma's Story...
This adorable little girl is approx 1 year old and 11lbs, she looks like a yorkie mix and is just the sweetest little dog,she was just a stray picked up by animal control, she gets on great with the other dogs, loves to go wherever you go so can run through a door very quickly and would need to be watched,so no small children that tend to leave doors open, loves to run and play with her rescue buddies, seems to be pretty well house trained but not perfect, she is just the nicest little dog, a little shy at first but warms up very quickly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carisma, a Norwalk Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
