My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy was rescued from a high kill rural shelter just in the nick of time! She is a smaller dog, about 20 lbs. We believe she may be a Whippet mix due to her gentle nature and graceful agility. She is estimated to be 1-2 years old. Her foster mom writes:

"Daisy has a gentle personality and gets along with people and other dogs well (I don't have a cat so don't know how she would do with one). While she was a bit shy and timid at first, she now follows me around, likes to sit beside me on the couch or stretch out on her own if I'm busy. She enjoys attention but will also amuse herself gathering toys and moving them from one room to another. She hasn't shown any aggressive behavior and will willingly release a toy or bone. I've had her on self feed and she seems to pace her eating in a normal manner. Daisy is still learning her name so responding to commands will take some training. I think she has had some harsh treatment as she seems fearful when asked to do things like sit. She's responding to a gentle but firm tone and has sat twice today when asked. She wants to please, craves loving attention and praise, and will make a great family pet. "

Daisy has been spayed and is heartworm negative. She is up to date on vaccines and is fully vetted. She is on flea-tick and heartworm prevention.
