CHINOOK's Story...
Chinook is an 11wk old female Siberian Husky mix who was found with her sister, Alaska, foraging for food near a sparsely populated country road. Residents fed them both until a rescue group arrived. Chinook is rather shy with people but is improving every day. The pups were full of fleas and lice, both of which are dead. Lice stay on the hair shaft until the fur grows out sufficiently. This little girl is going to make a wonderful family pet.

Although Chinook is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.
If you are interested in taking me into your forever home please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHINOOK, a Groton Siberian Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Groton, or seeking a Siberian Husky puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
