Meet Little Miss Lola Widdles she has a little anxiety in meeting new people & places in foster care so for now we listed anxiety as mild. When you go to give Lola attention she widdles or piddles … we call them Happy Hello Pees. Lola likes having her own crate, one was set up for, she walked right in and settled down. She is quiet and clean all night so you are guaranteed to have a good night’s sleep with Lola by your side. She knows her basic commands, responds well to them and is a quick learner. She is still considered a small breed so needs to have access to go outside more frequently. Lola is a love bug & likes attention. She loves to play & loves to have toys. She is very gentle but quite the inquisitive little girl…she wants to know what you are up to!
Just like a typical Jack Russell Lola is a cheerful girl and she will always have you smiling and laughing at her antics and personality. Lola is absolutely fearless and she will guard the people she loves to end of the world and back again. Lola is an extremely smart girl and if you let her take an inch she will walk away with a mile! She needs a strong, hard-headed, gentle hearted guardian and best friend for life… someone just like her!
Lola has strong hunting instincts (stronger than your average terrier) and should not be trusted with other small animals. The Jack Russell breed is a hunting dog likes to chase, explore, bark and dig. Only let her off lead in a safe area.
Lola can be extremely vocal at dog parks when surrounded by other doggies but ultimately that is just her way of saying Hi because she is pretty friendly with all. She is a high energy girl who loves to run and play. We would love active walkers and a home outside the city with a back yard for Lola to be able to play and run! We also prefer a mature couple who understands the Jack Russell breed and their traits. The potential adoptive family should know in advance that we will not adopt out Lola to first time dog owners or to a family who have children in the home under 12 years of age.
