If you want a loyal dog who loves people and playing, Chance is the dog for you. He has lived with his current family for more than a year, but unfortunately he does not do well with one of the male dogs in the house, so his family has made the difficult decision to find Chance a home where he can thrive.

Chance is buddies with two of the other four dogs in his current home. He has always had another dog with him, so a home with a female companion dog may be best for him.
Because he is young and energetic, Chance needs a lot of activity. An active family that can include Chance in their exercise or activities would be ideal.

Chance has proved to be a very smart dog who loves to learn. Last year, Chance and his owner's adolescent daughter earned a trip to the State Fair Dog Show in 4-H. He has done obedience, rally, and agility, and he would love to continue this training with his new family.

Chance would not do well in a household with small children or small animals. He is a bird dog, so he loves chasing small creatures, as he thinks they are prey. If you have a tennis ball, a toy, or a Frisbee for him to chase, Chance will be your friend for life.

This handsome young boy is looking for his second Chance at love and companionship. Please contact his case managers at the e-mail address below if you would like to get to know this great guy.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.
Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Chance.
