Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. ADR is not responsible for the health, temperament, behavior or placement of this dog. Listings are done at the request of the dog's owner and as an outreach and community service in hopes of finding these dogs a loving, stable forever home. Placement decisions are made solely at the discretion of the owner and not Austin Dog Rescue. Owners are required to ask for an adoption fee from adopters.
This is the back story behind Starfish that we received from the woman who rescued him:
Starfish is very sweet and gentle with people. Starfish will literally fall at your feet to please you. Starfish was swept into the middle of a busy street by a heartless man with a broom. Starfish gently walked back to the man as if seeking companionship. The man took his broom, and shoved him right back into the street again and again, in front of my car. I swerved to the other side of the street, and I watched this continue in my rear-view mirror before turning around and scooping-up the young dog from the road. Starfish is an easy keeper; he especially loves female dogs! He is house-trained, neutered and vetted. Starfish loves all people, and he sleeps in a kennel.
