My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUPER-CUTE PUPPY ALERT!!! If you agree that there is nothing better in the world than puppy breath and if you delight in helping a little fuzzy "young'un" grow into a happy, healthy adult dog, we would like to introduce you to our newest litter of puppies. They, along with their mom, were found by a "Dog Angel" on 10/27/07. Apparently, the pups had just been born. The pitiful little family were huddled together under a house. Knowing that they would not survive in this situation, the Dog Angel was determined to rescue the family and take them to safety. It took her 3 weeks, but her patience and determination paid off and she was finally able to win the mama dog's trust. Off they went to a loving foster home. Once the puppies were weaned, the mom decided she had had it with nursing puppies and needed a break from motherhood. She has since been adopted by one of her caretakers (and is being spayed). Now, it's her babies' turn to find loving, forever homes of their own. They have regained their health, were successfully treated for ringworm, received their first round of puppy boosters and have been wormed. Our $175 adoption fee also covers the cost of 2 more rounds of puppy boosters, plus spay/neuter surgery, when they are a little older. Their foster mom raves about what snuggle bugs the puppies are. The 3 males and 5 females all have distinct, adorable personalities. Pictured here is Patch. This little guy just wants to have fun. He doesn't understand why his littermates want to waste time napping, when there is so much playing to be done. Patch will wear himself out trying to rouse his brothers and sisters from their naps. He finally relents and enjoys a snooze himself. Patch also loves to be picked up and cuddled. He is a bundle of warm love. Patch needs a new family who is ready, willing and able to help him successfully navigate his way through puppyhood (and all that goes along with it). Most of all, he deserves a family who will love him and want him just as much when he is an adult dog. We know Patch has Heeler in his breed mix, which means he will grow to be a pretty active dog. He will need to be a member of a fairly active family.
