Gia's Story...
Gia is a small name for a small kitten. Born the obvious runt of her litter this little peewee still remains a good half the size of her black and white brother Giovanni. Gia has a cute little white stripe down her face, a pink nose and one itty bitty black nostril. She always seems like she's on high alert. Gia might do better in a quieter home or a home with her big brother Giovanni to keep her company. Gia is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, dewormed, litter trained, and spaying will be covered. If you are interested in adopting Gia please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gia, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
