My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GSRCA rescued Rebel July 3, 2007 after receiving a call from a nice couple who had temporarily taken him in. Seems his owners moved away and left him to fend for himself. Based on his condition he's never been cared for properly. He was covered in fleas. He was heartworm positive. He had a bad case of mange and his coat was very splotchy. Even though Rebel weighs 90 pounds, he was underweight for his frame - with every rib showing. How people can care so little about animals is beyond us, but we hear stories just like Rebel's far too often.

Rebel holds no grudges for this neglect. He meets everyone with a smile and wagging tail. He's a charmer, that's for certain! Rebel completed his heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative!! Updated pictures coming soon.

This dog is crate trained, neutered, up to date on shots and HW negative. Adoption application, home visit, and $300 adoption fee are required. Please read our adoption requirements on our home page.
