On a scale of 1 to 10, this girl is an 11!!! Sandy is a gentle, calm, loving, easy-going, nurturing girl whose motto is "Chill". Sandy was owner-surrendered by a family who fell on very hard times, and rather than dump her at a local city pound, they sought out a loving rescue group and we have made the promise to find Sandy a home who will appreciate the "Mary Poppins" of dogs!!! Sandy is absolutely perfect with kids - - a loving babysitter - - and will take treats so gently from their little hands. She rides very well in the car and is happy to oblige in play with any who invite her to play with them! She's friendly with everyone - - the absolutely perfect family dog. Sandy is about 4 years old and she was diagnosed with low-positive heartworm for which she is being treated. She will come with all the meds needed to continue her treatment. She is otherwise very healthy and will be forever grateful for a second chance.
