My story

Hi there, it's me, Dezzie, and I am one sweet girl who absolutely loves to cuddle and has so much love left to give. Since the second I arrived at Young at Heart, I have melted into the lap of anyone who has sat with me - I am so happy to be safe and I love my humans! I am a 10-year-old Labrador mix who is new to the rescue, but I am settling in with my foster family and I am doing very well! I am house trained, love to go on walks, and while I am doing my best to get to know my canine housemate, it has taken me a little while to warm up to her. If I go to a family with other dogs, I would ask that you please give me time to adjust to my new friends. I am a sweet girl, I'm just a bit protective of my space with other dogs, but I am always kind and gentle with my humans. Since the weather is getting cold, and winter is quickly approaching, you're going to need someone to keep you warm, so look no further than me!
