Found taking refuge in a car engine, this kitten was utterly terrified before being rescued by a kind stranger. Currently estimated to be 6 weeks old, Liberty (or "Bert" for short) has discovered the joy of being loved and safe in a home. Now purring merely at the sound of a human's voice, Bert has definitely acclimated to being part of a family. He LOVES being held, and will climb into a lap for cuddles! (see Bert being snuggled in this short video http://youtu.be/Lmy99bSDayE ) Bert gets along great with other cats and children, and has the trademark incredibly plush, Russian Blue coat.
