(ID #83) Hi, my name is Princess.
I am a two year old Pit Bull mix. I was found as a stray wandering the streets trying to survive. At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love. I have plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with me.
I am a young lady at heart and I weigh around 40 pounds. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and neutered. I received a set of preventative shots and have been wormed.
I tested positive for heartworms when I first came to the shelter. The wonderful volunteers of Sheltered Paws provided the medicine I needed to kill all those nasty little things. I am now heartworm free and ready for my new loving home.
The volunteers at the shelter really love me. This is what they put in my notes:
Princess is a real cutie. She is very gentle, affectionate, and loves to explore. One of her favorite things is a good belly rub. She is great on leash and a very good listener.
I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice.
