Dawson, a 3.5-year-old male neutered Yellow Labrador Retriever, is ready and more than willing to be your new best friend! This super-friendly and very handsome 62-pound bundle of absolute goofiness and joy is pure Lab: he’s cheerful, curious, and everybody’s buddy—from children and strangers to other dogs and even cats.
Dawson is eager to show you his skills, which include “sit,” “shake,” and walking on a leash. He’s an excellent listener, and he’s working on “come,” but that’s a tough one when the world is so much fun and there are so many things to explore! He’s up to date on his vaccines, and he’s getting back up to speed on being 100% house trained.
Dawson is a laid back guy who wants nothing more than to be at your side at all times, so much so that he’s really not a fan of being crated. But, he is a true pal who loves lots and lots of attention just as much as (if not more than) he loves food—and boy-oh-boy, do Labs love food! Dawson is no exception. He has no food (or toy) aggression, but he does try to eat everything in sight, so you’ll need to keep the kibble bin out of reach and your socks in the hamper!
