Emma's Story...
Emma is a silly young lab mix who has all the fun of a puppy without quite so much work! She is around 35 lbs and around 1 year old. She is potty trained and housetrained! She is very obedient and while she hasn't received training in the past she is quickly learning sit, stand, lay, and touch! She LOVES to snuggle with other dogs and her foster parents. We think she would be great with kids as she still has that silly I love everyone and everything puppy attitude. She does however love to run and play so will need to be taught appropriate play with little ones. She lives with 3 other dogs and a cat so we know she is good with other animals. Emma's adoption fee includes spay, microchipping, up to date heartworm/flea prevention, and age appropriate vaccines. Does she sound like a great fit for your family? Emma is currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but we adopt to many different areas! Please e-mail or go ahead and fill out an adoption application here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Homewood Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
