Virginia's Story...
*****I AM A FOREVER FOSTER DUE TO MEDICAL ISSUES. PLEASE CONSIDER SPONSORING ME, DONATIONS CAN BE MADE THROUGH PAYPAL AT: SOUTHERNCROSSBTR.COM THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING RESCUE!*****

Virginia was rescued from a puppy mill where she was kept in a cage for 6 years and bred repeatedly. She is now 19 pounds, 10-years-old and in need of lots of love and understanding. She has no trouble with other dogs or cats. Virginia is extremely shy but sweet and will cuddle with you on her terms. She is housebroken, micro chipped, spayed and has all her shots.
Virginia is in need of twice daily medication which can add up over time. Due to her abuse at the puppy mill she was rescued from she has lots of issues. She can be very destructive and has eye issues, ulcers and early glaucoma, that were never taken care of till she came to us. This is why we are asking for donations to help make the rest of her life as comfortable as can be since she will always do best with her foster dad. Thank you for your support!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Virginia, a Jackson Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
