Scruffy's Story...
Meet Scruffy! We actually have no idea what breeds he's mixed with so really its anyones guess. He's a sweet puppy only about 4-5 months old. Scruffy is a scaredy cat but with lots of love and some training he's come out of his little shell. Scruffy is very quiet for a baby. He does look like he's going to be a very large dog when he's fully grown. He's partially housebroken but he'll need to learn the rest of the way to get it fully down. If your interested in adopting this handsome little boy you will need to pre-pay for his medical to be neutered in a month or so.

Act quickly to adopt Scruffy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scruffy, a West Warwick Irish Wolfhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Wolfhound for sale in West Warwick, or seeking a Irish Wolfhound puppy from a breeder in West Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
