Buddy's Story...
Meet Sweet Buddy! He is estimated to be around 5 years old and weighs 12 lbs. He is very quiet and is perfectly content with being a lap dog and a companion. Buddy is crate trained, potty trained, and rides very well in the car. Buddy's personality is more cautious and reserved until he gets to know you. Once he warms up, you will be the apple of his eye. We believe he would do best in a calm household. If you would like to learn more about this precious boy, email info@FORrescue.net. Buddy is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. He is current on vaccinations, microchipped, is heart worm negative, and current on heart worm, flea, and parasite preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Marietta Shih Tzu/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
