My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cheech is a young male standard who will be about a year old fall of 2013. He was bought from a Petsmart Christmas of 2012 and given an empty, very large cage and was left alone until July when he was surrendered to us. He became a bad fur-chewer possibly out of boredom. He now has a wheel and toys and seems to be gradually stopping. He has fur where he did not before but it is unknown if he will ever break the habit. Sept 2013: see the video. The hip areas that are ragged were chewed to the skin. It is very likely he will stop chewing completely if he hasn't already. He is slowly learning to be handled and, being so young, it is very likely he will become fully socialized. he has achieved a lot while he has been here. Cheech needs a home with a patient human with lots of love.


Cheech has been vet checked and is physically healthy with good teeth. A cage is available.


An approved cage, a 15" Quality Cage chinspin exercise wheel and a wire carrier are required and a donation of $75 is requested as an adoption fee.
