My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Derry, the most adorable 2 1/2 yr old red merle mini male!! Derry weighs all of 19 pounds. He has one blue eye and one amber eye. He is sweet, affectionate and just all around lovable! I do not know how he is with children though I suspect he's try to herd them. When he gets excited he tugs on the bottom of my pants leg! He would probably be fine with older children. Derry LOVES to play fetch and chew on chewies. With his love of fetching I bet he'd make a nice Frisbee dog with training! He is house and crate trained.

Derry is a wonderful house dog! He's small and compact, loves to be petted. He is doing great with the dogs at my home and plays with the puppy.

Derry does have a medical condition called demodex and is being treated for it. He is responding to medication just fine and it's clearing up! A stress free home and good nutrition will go a long way in helping him stay well. This is one great little guy who will make someone a GREAT pet!
