My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Beatrice and I am very sweet. My foster mom says I am totally loveable. I follow her everywhere with my tail wagging non-stop. If she sits, I'm sitting with her. If she is in bed, you guessed it; I'm right there with her. I sleep all night right by her side and I make the best snuggling partner ever. I am very well house trained which I know makes Dachshund owners very happy.

One thing you should know about me is that I do not like being put in a crate, so my foster momma is ok with leaving me out when she is away for short periods of time because she knows I won\'t potty in the house or chew things up.

I hear her tell people all the time that I am the best foster dog she has ever had. Plus… and I don’t want to brag, but I’m quite beautiful too. Sometimes foster momma calls me \"B\" and sometimes \"Junie B\" after the character in the kids’ books \"Junie B. Jones.\" She used to read them to her little girl and she just loves that name.

So please keep me in mind! If you aren\'t away from home for long periods of time, and you are looking to adopt a super special Dachshund, then I am the one for you. I do tend to expeience just a little bit of separation anxiety and sometimes will howl for just a minute when put outside to potty, but then I calm down and take care of my business.

Please take a good look at me and if you want to love a dachsie who is the closest thing to a perfect girl, you’ll want to adopt me right away.
