My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby says
"I hate to admit it, but I'm so sad and depressed. I was living happily outside in a nice neighborhood in Virginia. I was truly a community cat with many human and animals friends, a cozy shelter and plenty to eat. Then someone totally freaked out because cats can't be outside in the winter. Really? I was fine outside and perfectly happy.

"Anyway, to make a long story short, I got "rescued" and now live in the Howard County Cat Club's group home. The volunteers are very nice to me, and the other cats are okay. But I miss my old neighborhood and my old friends. And I don't like being indoors.

"Won't you please come set me free? I'm very friendly. And if you let me live in your garage or barn, I'll help you when you're gardening or doing chores. Even though I have no front claws, I'll keep your property rodent-free. And I'll even come in the house and keep you company, as long as you let me go back out again.

"To meet me, just contact the Howard County Cat Club to arrange an introduction."
