Hi my name is Gizmo and I am a 4yr 12lb male Pekingese Pomeranian mix that just loves and adores women above all else. I want to snuggle, sit in your lap and even sleep with you if I can. I do have a yard I love running around but I also love going for walks and seeing the sites. At the end of the day I am ready to snuggle and will jump in your lap, curl up next to you and the best thing is cozying right up to you in bed.
I do have 8-10yr old children that visit my home who are dog savy and let me approach them, in fact they say hi but really don't come to see me so I do well with them. Children who may want to play, carry, tug, or give me kisses may or could make me nervous, I have not really been tested with younger children and with my inexperience with them I will only be placed in a home with children 15yrs and up.
I get along great with my foster sisters and brother who are Dachshunds and smaller then me. I love to play with them and run around with them. We have a blast! I would love to have a furry companion as long as they are smaller then me, friendly and non-dominating.
I do not like large breed dogs!! I think I am as big as them and go after them and forget them cats.. I can't live with them either. NO CATS!
I do have a long coat and will require brushing and I also shed a tad.
I have been perfect with my potty training, I have had no accidents at all at home and have done no marking either and I am crate trained.
I have been with my foster home for a while and do well in my home, I have someone home with me almost all day and yes I do bark, I do not know how I would be in an apt setting esp with barking, home alone for hours so I would best be adopted with someone who has a home or home a good portion of the day.
I do have an adoption fee of $250 to cover my vetting and to help save the next pup.
I am fully Vetted/Nuetered/Microchipped/Heartworm Neg on preventative and also under flea/tick treatment as well

We are setting up many meet and greets with our pups and the family could be found prior to you even getting to meet them. We will make sure all potential adopters who inquired are updated if the pup has been adopted.
