My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chico who is affectionately known as "Cheeks" is a super-sweet, sociable, laid-back little guy ready for you to give him his forever-home. This 1 and a half year-old pup is friendly with other dogs, children and strangers, and has even seen cats at the vet’s office and had no problems with them. At 16 pounds he is about 4 pounds overweight but his foster family is working with him on that and he’s already lost 1 pound! Imagine when he is nice and svelte! He is being fostered in a quiet neighborhood in upper Manhattan where he gets along great with his medium-sized foster brother.

Chico’s foster mom writes: “Chico is both affectionate and quirky. He enjoys taking long walks in the park and then snuggling up with us humans or his foster brother. Even though he has a relaxed personality and go-with-the-flow attitude he still makes us laugh with hilarious antics, like nibbling affectionately on his foster brother’s ear, rolling around on his chew toys to scratch his back, or falling asleep with his tongue sticking out. The lucky person or family who adopts Chico is in store for years and years of joy and cuddles.”
