Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tige is such a doll! He was surrendered locally when a family member developed asthma. His name is pronounced like "tiger" without the "r". He has such a sweet disposition and bonds quickly with people. He is very gentle, likes to play and is content to hang out in his crate with a bone. Tige is a quick learner with positive reinforcement. He loves his daily walks and is learning to walk nicely on lead. At one time he had an injured knee so hard running is not recommended for Tige but walking is just fine! He is learning about interacting with other dogs and taking their cues, as he didn't have a lot of socialization with other dogs. He also is working on some basic manners like not counter-surfing or jumping to greet. He will chase cats if they run but has done well with birds and horses.
Tige is great with adults and children, and he loves being indoors. He plays with pull toys and chew toys but doesn't much care about balls. We are working on putting weight on him, and he should be about 45 lbs when he is at an ideal weight. He is a four year old spaniel mix who can't wait to find his forever family!
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, https://sites.google.com/site/luckypuprescue33/, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
