Hi! My name is Ume and I’m a sweet, mellow, purebred Shiba Inu. Before my rescue, I spent my life in a puppy mill, so I’m a little shy until I get to know you. But I’m getting better with meeting new people and going to new places. I walk really well on a leash and I like going to the dog park and lounging around my house. I’m good with other dogs and calmer children. I haven’t been around kitties, so I am not sure if I like them yet or not. Even though I am a very quiet dog, I would prefer a house with a yard so I don’t have accidents if I forget to go when I’m taking a walk.
