Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CHANCE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Chance is a gorgeous, purebred 1 year old male German Shepherd in need of a loving and permanent home. This handsome fellow has had a rough start in life, he was rescued from a neglectful situation and lived his entire life in a tool shed. He's a year old and weighed only 50 pounds when he was found. He's about 70 pounds now and should be closer to 90 pounds. Despite his rough start, Chance holds no grudges. He is very friendly and happy-go-lucky. He does great with people, but may be a little too exuberant for very young children that can be easily knocked over. Chance is a typical Shepherd and can be a little talkative when he gets excited, but is generally quiet in the home. He is a very large, energetic and friendly boy, but he does need to work on his manners a bit! Since he's spent most of his life living outdoors, he is still learning how to behave in a home. He is very intelligent and eager to please though so his training is coming along well. He is crate trained and is crated when left unattended and does well. Chance also needs some work with his leash training. He is currently living with several other dogs and does well with everyone. Due to his size, strength and lack of training, he would do best in a home with adopters experienced with Shepherds or other large breeds and a an active home to help him burn off some of his energy! We would love to find him a home with another dog with similar energy to play with him and keep him occupied and preferably a fenced yard as well. Chance is a marvelous dog that will make any Shepherd lover very happy.
