Blossom's Story...
Blossom is 43 lb. lap dog that, if possible, would have no problem never leaving your side. She isn't an annoying baby about it though; she's crate trained with manners- no crying or barking! She is NOT a chewer (not even rawhides), but she will happily dig a hole in the garden for you or take a quick dip in a pond if you have one. She gets along with other dogs & cats, but she LOVES her human. She has no problem staying focused on them even when the rest of the pack runs about, playing. She's really quite calm, but hops, yes HOPS, when she gets excited... She doesn't jump up on you, but she will gently "paw" at you to get your attention... FYI: she will not stop until she succeeds

Blossom is around old yr and about lbs. Updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blossom, a Houston Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
