Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE - 21 OCTOBER 2014: Hi, I’m Brenda! My foster mom is busy at the moment so I thought I would give you an update on me. Now this will be very biased. I am adorable! At least that is what I have been told. I just love everybody! I love my foster mom and dad, my foster beagle brothers, everyone I meet on the street, especially kids. I really enjoy when they stop to pet me. I make this whimpering almost whining sound but that means I am happy.
I love to go for walks. Mom tries to take us on 2 mile walks several times a week. Me and my foster brother Duke really enjoy that. So many sights and smells!
I also enjoy food, a lot. I am now on a diet. Not really happy with that. Mom even told the nice neighbor lady that I can’t have any more treats for awhile. Boy was I bumming. But I guess mom knows best. I can also be a little vocal. Especially when my humans come home from work. I do like attention. But I am also a very good girl.
I have free run of the house. I do all my business outside.
But as much as I love it here, I really do need my fur-ever home. Arrooo!
UPDATE – 20 April 2014: Brenda has been with us for about 3 months. She is a very happy little girl who loves everything and everybody. She gets along great with her foster brothers and enjoys meeting people on our walks. She can be a bit vocal, though, especially if you don’t stop and pet her. She loves all the attention you can give her.
She is housetrained but doesn’t usually signal. I have given her the freedom of not being crated for the last 2 months. Brenda loves running around the yard. And, when the neighbors 2 little nieces come over, Brenda really enjoys when they pet her.
She is very food motivated, so I have to watch to make sure she doesn’t steal her foster brother’s food. She has been a joy to have.
Brenda came to BREW from Culpeper County, VA, where she was found as a stray. She is one happy beagle!!! She is very sweet and playful, a little vocal at times, and gets along well with small kids, adults, and other dogs. Stay tuned for more info once Brenda has moved into a foster home!
