Josie was a street dog for all 8 months of her life! At about 6 months old she was struck by a car and suffered a back leg injury that we are working on healing! Luckily Josie and her Mom, Gracie who was also saved by a different group were fed regularly by the homeless folks in the area and were not feral in the slightest!
Josie is now in living at the Kate To The Rescue Animal Rescue Center where she is receiving the care needed to heal her leg as well as provide a stable home for her to learn to be a companion animal for the first time!
Josie is adjusting quite well and loves to be around her foster dog friends and her foster parents! She gets a long well with animals of all shapes and sizes and plays with the smallest Chihuahua mixes up to big beefy Pit Bulls!
She is current on all her vaccinations and is spayed as well. She is hw negative and being given monthly heartworm prevention to keep her healthy!
Please come and meet this former street dog and give her the loving family she has waited so long for!
