Scooter's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Scooter's Story...
Scooter has the perfect blend of independence and the desire to cuddle. He really is a super dog! Scooter enjoys a rousing game of fetch/chase, but calms quickly afterward. He is well behaved and is a perfect gentleman in the house and rides well in the car. Scooter has nice leash manners and knows basic obedience commands such as "sit," "come," "down" and does great "watch mes." He has a soft mouth and takes treats gently, again, like a perfect little gentleman. He is friendly and attentive and enjoys spending time with his human friends. Scooter seems to get along with other dogs, but his new home should be cat free. He is already neutered so he's ready to go home and join your family today! Contact Lynn at 916.652.4164 or Wendy at 530.305.1917 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooter, a Auburn Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Auburn, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Auburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Auburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Auburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Auburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
