Teddy's Story...
Meow. My name is Teddy. I am a handsome devil and a kitten. I love to snuggle and play. I make my own toys so you don't have to buy any. Just make sure you buy good cat food and Evian water. I don't drink any other brand. I love humans and kittens. Dogs? What's a dog? Hmm, I don't know. Maybe. I guess it depends on a dog. You can "adopt" me but you must be awesome. So? I was rescued from a kill shelter so my next has to be loving and stable and forever, ok?

You may want to know that I am 5 months old, neutered (no little Teddies ever), up to date on vaccinations and emotionally available.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Brooklyn American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
