Little Adam's Story...
Adoption Pending. LITTLE ADAM is a handsome yellow Lab mix who is in search of an understanding family and a good forever home. Little A is HW positive and has not yet been neutered. He needs to be kept on Advantage Multi every month which is something a good pet owner should do anyway for flea and tick prevention. He is 2 - 3 years old, weighs 66 pounds and is a real sweetheart. He is well-behaved, gentle, house trained, kennels well, gets along with dogs and cats, and even knows some commands so it seems as though he has had training in the past. Little Adam will be worth the extra effort! His foster says he is a cuddle bug! If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Little A if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. It will be the responsibility of the adopter to have Little A neutered once he is HW negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Adam, a Union City Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Union City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
